After the contents of the container have been emptied, it should be allowed to sit empty until the float rod has a chance to warm up. Time can vary from a few days to a week. Always wear protective gloves that are rated for cryogenic temperature when handling the float rod, as it may retain the extremely cold temperature of the cryogenic liquid and can burn exposed skin. It is important to thoroughly read and understand all of the safety and maintenance sections of your product manual. Exposure to cryogenic liquid or low temperature gas can result in injury. Including, severe skin burns and tissue damage. Be sure to follow all safety precautions. Wear proper safety equipment to protect body, hands, and face. Prior to performing any work on a container, be sure to completely remove all liquid and vent pressure. Be absolutely sure that all parts and tools, as well as hands and work area, are completely free of any Grease, Oil, or Dirt. All parts intended for use on liquid cylinders that are exposed to product, must be properly cleaned for Oxygen service.
